💡 The Problem We’re Solving

For decades, rural communities — especially those living and working on farms — have been overlooked by both government and mainstream development initiatives. The result?

• Women trapped in cycles of seasonal labour with little to no skill-building or income-generating support

In response to these challenges, the Rural Map Foundation launched its flagship project: The Kukula Hub — meaning “growth” in Tsonga.

This vibrant community hub is designed to:

• Provide structured aftercare and digital education for rural children
• Offer early childhood development and play zones
• Create training workshops for women to learn sewing, entrepreneurship, and other life-sustaining skills
• Be a safe, inspiring space where hope grows alongside education
